Ho Chee Kong teaches composition at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore. His works for both Western and Chinese ensembles have been performed at festivals and concerts in Asia, Europe and the Americas. His other interests include exploring pedagogical issues in music composition and matters related to Asian music in modern society. He is the founding President and member of the Composers Society of Singapore and serves as an arts advisor to the National Arts Council, a member on the Board of Directors for the Singapore Chinese Orchestra, and as Vice-Chair on the Executive Committee of the Asian Composers League.
